We are very proud to announce the formation of a further addition to the DP Marine family – DP & Marine Assurance Denmark ApS.
Based in Denmark, the company will be headed up by Lasse T Hansen. Peter Solvang, founder and Managing Director of DP & Marine Assurance Norway AS said: “ Lasse brings to our ever growing Team skills and experience in offshore and marine operations. His career in the maritime industry in offices, chief officer and captains roles as well as his direct involvement in OVID inspections and CMID inspections brings a different perspective to our Team”.
Lasse T Hansen has a great deal of experience working with DP vessel. In the last 16 years working with Maersk Supply Service as Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) he has participated in a many FMEA Test, Proving Trails and Annual Trails. He has also been involved in various kinds of underwater projects.
He is a Certified/Authorized International Safety Management (ISM), International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) and Maritime Labour Inspections (MLC) lead auditor.
Peter Adds: “Denmark is an Ideal location to further expand our Dynamic Positioning, Marine Warranty and Marine Assurance services under the umbrella of the main group headquarters in Bergen. Our Group of companies are making significant headway expanding worldwide and we welcome Lasse to the DP Marine family.”
