About Marine Suitability Surveys
When a vessel is commissioned to provide a specific role, such as support, transportation, supply etc, suitability surveys verify the conditions and suitability of a vessel to perform such contracted operations.
Our marine suitability surveys are performed using accredited inspectors who will survey a vessel with a view to the required operations it will be performing at sea.
Surveys include a full inspection of a vessels technical features, internal and external construction, its operating equipment, performance, living quarters, machinery spaces, and ability to perform required tasks.
Surveys check a vessel is fit for purpose, identifying any potential areas of concern, or lack of equipment and features required for specific operations to be carried out by the vessels client.
The results of a marine suitability survey are then collated to create an in-depth report which shows any potential areas of concern and whether a vessel is equipped to carry out the required operations it is being considered to provide.
