DP & Marine Assurance (Cyprus) has just won its first major contract from a major shipyard client located in Dubai. We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the DP FMEA & Proving Trials for a new build DP 2 AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply).
Dynamic Positioning DP 2 systems offer increased redundancy in order to comply with Class 2 rules. They offer the advantage of not having a single point failure. DP 2 system are designed to avoid total system failure if a single failure occurs. As part of our range of high quality and cost effective DP and marine assurance services, DP FMEA & Proving Trials for this and similar types of vessels are a fundamental method to determine the safety, reliability and redundancy of the onboard system for DP positioning and DP related marine systems.
